So last week, I'm casually poking around on Twitter, and came across this:

Why is there no meetup for SF-based fans of EconTalk? A lot of people with big, thoughtful audiences do things like this. It'd be awesome.

Next thing I know, I've got dozens of people telling me they want to go, people offering venues, and telling me they can sponsor food.

I've wasted a lot of time making things peole don't want. When you make something people do want, everything is about 100x easier and more fun.
